Brainypics Flashcard Contest

5:22 pm High School, Idea for Contest, National Contest, Photography, Writing

Brainyflixers!!! We’re at it again! We’re offering $$$ and iTunes to get YOU to make Brainypics flashcards. Submit Brainypics between NOW and DECEMBER 7, 2009 and compete to win our $200 Grand Prize.

This is how we’ll choose the winner: Every week, we’ll pick our 5 favorite Brainypics, and those 5 will qualify for our final round of judging. The contest lasts 10 weeks total, so we’ll be choosing out of 50 total Brainypics. (By the way, we’re looking for guest judges, like a teacher or Justin Timberlake. Please be in touch if you are interested in judging!)

Here are the prizes:

  • $200 Grand Prize Winner - $100 goes to the student & $100 to his or her school.
  • Runner Up Contestants - We’ll pick 10 of these. Last time we gave away iTunes gift cards, so maybe we do that again. Or maybe we do something different. We’ll let you know!
  • Submitters: 1 iTunes for every 5 Brainypics submitted. (Offer valid for the first 500 submissions).

Rules

  • You can submit as many as Brainypics as you want, but they can’t be duplicates. In fact, you could have more than 1 Brainypic in the final round of judging.
  • Your sentence must include the word, use the word correctly, and use proper grammar.
  • Anyone can enter the competition! Just remember that part of the prize money has to go to a U.S. school of your choosing.
  • Important contest dates:
    • Submission opens: NOW
    • Submission ends: 12/7/2009
    • Grand prize winner announced: 12/10/2009
  • Be fun, but please be cool and not submit anything that will get us busted by your teachers. That said, we do reserve the right to remove Brainypics for any reason, stated here or not.
