bing Earth Day Photo Contest 2010

Deadline Apr 2010, Elementary School, High School, Middle School, Photography No Comments

The BingTM homepage is used by students everywhere as a way to explore and learn about the world, so focusing on education is a natural fit. The Earth Day Photo Contest is a great opportunity for students to honor Earth Day and spend some time outside learning about and photographing their natural environment. We hope that by encouraging students of all ages to capture Earth Day-related images and share them with the world, we can then bring the concept back indoors to have classroom discussions around environmental awareness.

Art, Deadline Apr 2010, High School, Science, Technology No Comments

NASA invites high school and college students from all areas of study, including the arts, industrial design, architecture and computer design, to submit their work on the theme “Life and Work on the Moon.” Artists are encouraged to collaborate with science and engineering students. For the first time, entries in literature (poetry and short stories) will also be accepted. Entries are due no later than April 15, 2010.
